When Seema Sajdeh opens the door to her house, she greets us along with her trademark heat and self-deprecating wit.
Her house is each fashionable, and mawkish. One of many first issues she factors out is a putting piece of artwork: “Fairly an announcement, isn’t it pretty? It’s a mama goat,” she tells Brut India. That mama goat, she shares, was her first-ever artwork buy. Her ardour for artwork is evident, but in addition grounded: “They present me these work and this one’s a extremely well-known artist… however that appears a bit scary. It has to enchantment to me.”
