When Robert Thompson’s $5 million in cryptocurrency disappeared, he didn’t name the police. He known as an organization named AMLBot, a digital asset restoration agency working out of Hong Kong. Inside weeks, AMLBot claimed, the agency had achieved the unimaginable: traced the stolen crypto, discovered the perpetrator and helped Thompson start recovering his funds.
