    Meta’s widespread messaging app, WhatsApp, has been banned from the U.S. Home of Representatives, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Catherine Szpindor advised employees there on Monday.

    “The Workplace of Cybersecurity has deemed WhatsApp a high-risk to customers as a result of lack of transparency in the way it protects consumer knowledge, absence of saved knowledge encryption, and potential safety dangers concerned with its use,” the electronic mail stated, seen by Axios.

    The word stated the app is banned from all authorities gadgets, together with telephones and computer systems.
