WHEC in Rochester, N.Y. is including half-hour to its Midday newscast.
Beginning on September 29, the NBC affiliate will air a one hour newscast at Midday.
The expanded native broadcast will create a full two-hour noon native/nationwide information block, with the hour-long NBC Information Day by day starting at 1 p.m.
“This growth additional establishes our management, producing extra hours of native broadcast TV information than some other Rochester TV station,” Richard Reingold, WHEC normal supervisor. “We’re proud to deepen our dedication to the neighborhood by delivering much more of the trusted journalism Rochester depends on.”
The prolonged midday newscast can also be accessible on WHEC.com, the News10NBC cellular app and the News10+ streaming app.
