Derricke Dennis is becoming a member of WISH in Indianapolis, Indiana as an anchor.
Dennis has spent the previous 5 years as a correspondent and anchor for ABC Information in New York. He’s additionally anchored for Fox Information Headlines 24/7, reporting for WCBS-TV, and anchoring and reporting at Information 12 in New York. He’s labored at WRIC in Richmond, Virginia, WXMI in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and WDIV in Detroit, Michigan.
“We’re thrilled to welcome a tv information veteran like Derricke to the staff,” stated Al Carl, WISH-TV vp and information director. “He’ll improve an already robust broadcast and digital information staff.
Dennis appeared on WISH in July as a contract anchor.
“As quickly as I stepped foot into the WISH-TV newsroom, I instantly felt at dwelling,” Dennis stated. “I hope to convey all of my expertise to strengthen WISH-TV’s place as Indiana’s primary selection for information, each on-air and on-line.”
He’ll make his on-air debut on September 8.
